Anthony Joshua warns Deontay Wilder to be 'realistic' with his demands

American boxer Shannon Briggs is free to box again today after serving out his ban following a failed drugs test.

"Lots of different permutations right now, lots of different venue options as well - talks of one fight in the United Kingdom, one fight in America between the two - but also an understanding that this is a huge fight and one that we must get made in 2018". "It's seems like this is the grand finale".

Joshua defended his WBO and WBA heavyweight belts by stopping Carlos Takam at the Principality Stadium last month, and was under fire from potential challenger Fury, and WBC champion Deontay Wilder. Although there's a long way to go before initial terms could even be laid out, it's not stopped Fury from believing he can take down "fraud" Joshua.

"Sometimes if a dog barks at you so many times, the other dog needs to bite back and make sure the other dog puts his tail between his legs". I like Fury but I want to knock him out.

"In our fight you couldn't land any punches and I made you miss and really played games in there".

"It's a tough road back for him and I'm a fight that he doesn't want", Briggs said.

FORMER UNDISPUTED WORLD heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is set to return to the ring as soon as next April according to his uncle and trainer Peter Fury.

"I'm not one of these dogs that stay in the garden barking for hours, I make my noise - and that's it - until we fight I don't need to be hollering and yelling for days and for months", he added. "Once I knock out "the whale" - that's what I call Fury - I bet that Wladimir Klitschko will come back [to fight me]". I don't like to talk about it.

"I didn't understand where he was coming from when he said he was running scared".

Despite the simmering bad blood between them and fans' appetite to see them settle their differences, Fury will nearly certainly require one or two tune-up fights before he is given the chance to clash with Joshua. It is nice to know that I can give a lot more. I could say more and be a lot more reckless, but I'm going to keep very professional when I say, I wish Tyson Fury all the best.

"Providing Deontay Wilder is true to his word this fight will happen in 2018".
