The New Orleans Saints' seventh consecutive victory may have been their most impressive as they flattened the Buffalo Bills 47-10 Sunday at New Era Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y. "We've got to get better". "That wasn't up to our standard".

Sunday's game against Buffalo, and was transported to a local hospital via ambulance. Between Weeks 5 and 9, the Bills were tied for 18th in points per game allowed (23.75) and 24th in yards allowed per game (383.3).

Suddenly, a defense that was hailed for being so opportunistic for forcing 17 takeaways through Buffalo's first seven games, is now unraveling in having allowed a combined 492 yards rushing and nine touchdowns in its past two, following a 34-21 loss to the New York Jets on November 2.

"We got whooped physically", he said. "We've got to hit the reset button, regroup, and I look forward to doing that this week".

When asked about how the traditional "thunder and lightning" tag doesn't really apply to him and Kamara since they're both so versatile, Ingram said, "We go together, we feed off each other, we push each other, we compete against each other. both make people miss, both can catch the ball, both can run inside". This is how you get tested in the league. The loss was so bad that Saints punter Thomas Morstead teased the Bills after the game by tweeting a Photoshopped picture of his name on the Saints' inactive list because he never had to punt.

"Horrible game", said starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor. McDermott said last week it would be unrealistic to expect any team to be flawless through 16 games. The Bills are unbeaten at home this year, and that changes Sunday.

The Saints (7-2) have now won seven straight and host the Washington Redskins next week.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - New Orleans Saints running backs Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara were so in sync Sunday that they even chose to do their postgame interview together when they finished dressing at the same time as a crowd of reporters waited.

"The whole thing sucked today", Bills veteran defensive tackle Kyle Williams said. "We're in wrong places, we're not where we're supposed to be".

"It just snowballed into a nightmare". Alvin Kamara had one on 106 yards, Trey Edmunds had one on 48 yards and Brees - who had zero passing touchdowns - had another running score on six yards.

The Saints' 298 rushing yards rank third in franchise history.

Aside from a kneel-down to end the first half, the Saints reached the red zone on all of their possessions through the first three quarters, scoring five touchdowns over that span.

Saints punter Thomas Morstead had some fun with his usage on Twitter after the game, adding himself to the team's inactive list.

It wasn't so long ago - 2015 - that Brees became the eighth player in National Football League history to throw for seven touchdowns in a game.

The Bills managed 198 yards, and 10 first downs.
