The 2017 NCAA Cross Country National Championships will be held in Louisville, Ky. on Saturday Nov. 18.

"They put some long sleeves on and that was about the only adjustment we had", Coach Ron Helmer said.

Senior Amy-Eloise Neale once again was the highest finisher for the No. 16 Washington women with a time of 19.25.3 to finsh in third. Brophy clocked in three-tenths of a second ahead of his teammate at 30:49.9, while Donley posted a time of 30:50.2.

Bigelow finished with a time of 22:25.0, topping her previous personal record by 43 seconds.

Utah State has never sent a full team to the NCAA Cross Country National Championships, but this year, both the men's and women's teams are making their first appearances at the biggest race of the season. Thirteen additional teams received at-large selections. "Obviously, there are some really good girls [from other schools] out there, but having good competition at every single race we go to continually pushes us to be the best athletes we can be".

The Ducks finished with 92 points, behind victor San Francisco with 59 points and runner-up Stanford with 76 points. There was no change midway through the race, with the Nittany Lions establishing control up front and the Wildcats and Hoyas battling for second place.

Before Northeast Regionals on Friday, SU head coach Chris Fox believed the team had a legitimate shot to make the cut if some of the middle runners could run a little faster than usual. Seufer and Jaskowak came in ninth and 10, respectively, while Joseph finished 21. "We learned a great deal today and will be better next year because of it".

"Karissa looked fantastic up front", coach Marc Burns said. Also scoring for Portland were sophomore Caleb Webb (27th, 30:05.8) and junior Noah Schutte (29th, 30:09.8).

OR finished with 149 points, behind Portland (63), Washington (65) and Stanford (85). Behind the Huskies were Pac-12 Champions No. 4 Stanford in third, No. 13 OR in fourth, and No. 10 UCLA in fifth, making this a huge upset for the Dawgs.

The Pilots Emmanuel Roudolff-Levisse, a sophomore from France, won the men's 10,000-meter race at Jefferson Park Golf Course in Seattle.
