In the expansion's announcement trailer, we heard Ikora Rey describe Osiris - her mentor - as "the most notorious Guardian in Vanguard history". During the stream, Bungie will showcase the new locations on Mercury you'll visit, some of the new characters you'll meet, and the dangers you'll face. Players who purchased the expansion pass will have access to Curse of Osiris as well as the unnamed second expansion slated to release next Spring. Activision maintains operations throughout the world and is a division of Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ: ATVI), an S&P 500 company. Perhaps three months after Destiny 2 launched on console - and only two since it landed on PC - is a little early to drop new paid content onto players laps, but I'm sure many are ecstatic about the prospect of diving back in for more Destiny 2. What's interesting is that Curse of Osiris won't have its own unique raid. "I hope people complain about how much story we have". To the Vex, it's a "reality engine" that allows the time-traveling troops to see multiple timelines and pick one that suits its interests. The Leviathan Raid, as we know it, will still exist, but further challenges will be available in new areas of the Leviathan ship, including new encounters and boss fights.

The Lighthouse will act as a social hub for the DLC.

Brother Vance, a disciple of Osiris, returns to Destiny 2 as well, he left the Reef for The Lighthouse. Bungie also plans to bump up the Power Level requirements and rewards for the vanilla Leviathan raid, so players will still have reason to play it as well. The stream takes place on Bungie's official Twitch channel.

Bungie Details Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris's 'Infinite Forest' And 'Raid Lair'

We're only a few weeks away from the release of the first "Destiny 2" expansion, "Curse of Osiris".

While it's a bit disappointing to not see the Raid explore more about Osiris, the Vex, the Infinite Forest, and that whole story line, it's interesting to see Bungie expand the role of Leviathan in the game.
