Falcons likely to play without top RB Devonta Freeman vs. Seahawks

Devonta Freeman injured in Week 10

The Atlanta Falcons needed to beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and that's just what they did with decisive 27-7 victory.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen, Freeman is unlikely to play in the Week 11 affair after enduring his second concussion of the season. But running back Devonta Freeman left the game very early with a concussion, and he's expected to miss Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks.

The team late announced Freeman has a concussion and would not return to the game. Freeman, who played his collegiate football at Florida State University, was originally selected by Atlanta in the fourth round (103rd pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft. He suggested that much in a Twitter post on Sunday, saying he could tell Freeman was playing with a concussion during their week 9 matchup. Not sure it's so good for Tevin Coleman, though any running back with a big workload has to be considered for Fantasy. Prior to the win, Atlanta had lost four of its previous five games. nMatt Ryan and company will take on the Seahawks next Monday at 8:30 p.m.
