Fight erupts in Indianapolis Drive-thru over chicken nuggets

Women assaulted manager at Indianapolis McDonald’s because they wanted chicken Mc Nuggets

Police say two women climbed in the drive-thru window at an Indianapolis McDonald's and assaulted an employee because they didn't get their chicken McNuggets.

"I was like, "This can't be happening in front of me right now", she told an U.S. radio show.

He told her she would have to go back through the drive-thru to order more. The manager told them they didn't order McNuggets, and he reprinted their receipt to ensure they didn't pay for McNuggets. Apparently they believed they had ordered ten, but had really only ordered four. That's when the driver and a passenger jumped through the window and attacked the manager.

The women were then forced back out through the window and drove off at speed - without the extra chicken McNuggets. "I thought they were robbing, at first, I thought they were robbing the McDonald's there", she said.

Video recorded by the next person in the drive-thru line shows the two women climbing in the window at about 2:30 a.m.

"I couldn't even imagine being one of the workers and seeing somebody coming into that window like that". They then climbed back out, got into the auto, and drove away - without the chicken nuggets.

According to a police report, the manager told them, "Have a nice day", and that's when the situation escalated to this.

Police are looking over video of the incident.

Staff said the pair knocked over a basin full of tea and damaged the tablet register after claiming they weren't given enough nuggets.
