Flipkart's going into the smartphone business under its Billion brand, launching a handset called the Capture+ in India.

The Billion Capture+ will be available in two configurations - 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, which is priced at Rs 10,999 and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM priced at Rs 12,999. The phone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, which is coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Though, we know that the phone will have a dual camera, we don't have any information on the implementation of the same (RGB + monochrome, wide angle lens + telephoto lens, RGB + depth sensing sensor). Flipkart stressed the products under the Billion name are and will always be made in India.

In terms of software, the Flipkart Billion Capture+ runs on near stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. The smartphone will go on sale starting November 15, of course exclusively, on Flipkart. The device has two 13MP sensors at its rear accompanied with dual LED flash. Customers can also avail interesting deals including No Cost EMI, discounts on leading credit/debit cards and more.

Here are the complete details on the upcoming Flipkart's Billion Capture+, with dual camera setup with FHD IPS LCD display. With a premium build, the phone comes with dual cameras, a big 3,500mAh battery and a very competitive price, offering great value for money. It also comes with 8 MP front camera.

At the launch of Billion company, Flipkart told a slew of products including backpacks, mixer grinders, irons, and cookware appliances will be available under the Billion brand.

"The features in the Capture+ too have been derived from deep data-mining of millions of Flipkart customers' reviews", Sachin Bansal, co-founder and Executive Chairman of Flipkart, said in a statement.

Connectivity features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB Type C. The phone packs 3500 may battery with support to QuickCharge. As the company has set up more than 130 official service centres across 125 cities in India, so, after sale service is expected to perform smoothly. Hrishikesh Thite, category head, Billion said customers' major pain points in a smartphone centered around battery, camera, storage which is what they've addressed in the phone.
