RIP Former Faith No More Vocalist Chuck Mosley Has Died at Age 57

Chuck Mosley, the lead singer on Faith No More's first two albums, died Thursday at the age of 57.

The band members eventually reconciled, playing some shows in 2010 and a few shows together in 2015 and past year, including a performance at the Troubadour in West Hollywood that we were able to document.

Mosley left Faith No More to join punk band Bad Brains as their singer.

Faith No More had a habit of allowing audience members jump in to sing and Mosley "was among the most frequent volunteers", according to Rolling Stone.

Mosley was let go from the band in 1988 after his erratic behaviour resulted in numerous altercations with the band, including allegedly punching bassist Billy Gould onstage.

Considered a seminal metal group, San Francisco based Faith No More broke up in 1998.

They add: "He is survived by long-term partner Pip Logan, two daughters, Erica and Sophie, and his grandson Wolfgang Logan Mosley". The family accepts the help for Mosley's funeral.

The band's acclaimed second album, Introduce Yourself, spawned two of their key singles, "Anne's Song" and the hit "We Care a Lot", bringing the band to national attention. Though, as Mosley told Fear and Loathing past year, "It was all punk rock to me, man".

During his stint in the band, Mosley's behavior was unpredictable. While the band saw much greater success with Mosley's successor, Mike Patton, there is no doubt that Mosley contributed to shaping the band's sound. He moved to Cleveland in 1996, working at restaurants and focusing on being a father. There was an appearance from Faith No More band Korn and Jonathan Davis, which called to be the flawless gift for their fans.
