NFL does not fine Jalen Ramsey for fight with AJ Green

Bengals pro bowl wide receiver A.J. Green told reporters on Thursday that he was fined $42,000 by the National Football League for fighting with the Jaguars' Jalen Ramsey.

Green erupted, grabbed Ramsey by the neck from behind and slammed him to the ground.

Per Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk.com, Green received a $42,000 fine for getting into a fight with Jags cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

While Green's actions stood out comparatively, referee Brad Allen pointed out they were each warned before the fight, per DiRocco and Terrell. He had one catch for six yards.

Ramsey and Green had been trash talking back and forth throughout the first half, and things came to a head after a running play with less than 30 seconds to play. Green has been fined for his actions against the Jacksonville Jaguars. "He started screaming profanities once he spotted them" and "was also heard yelling that he was going to go find Green once security let him go". My family. That's not who I am, I can't go out there and black out like that.

According to the DiRocco and Terrell report, Ramsey apparently wasn't done with the Bengals and Green after the ejections.

"Y'all know how I play", Ramsey said. I told him that [covering him] was easy, which it was.

Green and Ramsey were both ejected from Sunday's 23-7 victory for Jacksonville.

Ramsey said he felt he shouldn't have been ejected from the game because his push that sparked the fight was not late and did not draw a flag. "If I knew I was going to get kicked out, I would have got active. It just got the best of me today".
