SWEET: Cashier Helps Man Count Change at Walmart

After all, we've all been on both sides of that grocery cart.

Spring Bowlin said she was waiting in the checkout line at Walmart in MS last week when she noticed the customer in front of her was having trouble counting his change at the cash register.

She said on Facebook, "He looks apologetically back at me and starts taking handfuls of change out of his pockets". As for the older gentleman, Bowlin said her heart went out to him. In the post, Bowlin describes the encounter where an elderly man, who had just had his items scanned was fiddling with change. When he finally pulled it all out, he miscounted and became frustrated.

His hands and voice were shaking, and that's when the cashier literally took matters into her hands.

But the clerk wasn't fazed.

"This attractive cashier takes his hands and dumps the change on the counter and says, 'This is not a problem, honey. We will do this together", the cashier said, according to Bowlin.

Once the man paid for his goods and walked away, Bowlin thanked the cashier for being so patient.

"I'm sorry", the man said. "What's wrong with our world is we've forgotten how to love one another, '" she writes.

Bowlin called it a heartwarming moment and said, "I want to be more like her (the cashier)".
