The CBI, within six days of taking over the case on September 22, identified the juvenile as an accused and even went to his residence and collected "crucial materials".

Since securing custody of the suspect, CBI sleuths have taken him to a "certain place" to reconstruct the scene of crime and to collect any other evidence related to the case.

The teenager arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the murder of Ryan International School student Pradyuman Thakur on Saturday was taken to the school by the CBI team to recreate the sequence of events that led to the crime. CBI sources confirmed that the class 11 student's home was searched by the officials and some items were seized by them with the permission of the court.

Meanwhile, the father of the accused claimed that his son was being tortured.

"My son is being tortured, he was hung upside down and brutally thrashed". After killing Pradyuman, the accused informed the PT teacher and gardener of Ryan International School that a student is bleeding inside the washroom. Sources said that the agency collected the clothes which the accused was wearing on the day of the crime.

The teenager allegedly wanted to impede the approaching exams and parent teacher meeting and hence killed the boy.

Rubbishing the CBI's findings, the juvenile's father maintained that his son was blameless and alleged that the agency was victimizing his family. But the sources said the agency has denied all the allegations.

The CBI had arrested him on Wednesday after he confessed that the crime was conducted with a motive of getting examinations postponed.

They said the agency has also purchased some knives from the shop to get their forensic analysis done in order to corroborate if the weapon was actually bought from there.

Meanwhile, the Juvenile Justice Board sought clarification from the CBI for violating timings of interrogation of the accused class 11 boy.

The CBI is also focusing on a second juvenile student who had raised an alarm about the murder.
