While Jurrasic World fans eagerly await the sequel's first trailer, set to be released sometime next month during select screenings of Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi, the film's director and co-writer, Colin Trevorrow has shared video footage to help tide fans over. "From our Jurassic family to yours", Colin wrote along with the tweet, tagging costars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. The clip shows Chris Pratt's character, Owen, returning to greet what looks like a new baby raptor, similar to the blue one he befriended in the first movie.

Little remains known about the sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Jurassic World, but it's been promoted with the tagline "Life Finds a Way", a callback a line of dialogue spoken by Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm in the original Jurassic Park.

It's not much and the weird angle and jittery camera suggests that Trevorrow is actually filming a screen showing the footage (possibly in an editing bay?).

"The dinosaurs will be a parable of the treatment animals receive today: the abuse, medical experimentation, pets, having wild animals in zoos like prisons, the use the military has made of them, animals as weapons", he said in an interview with Spanish site elmundo a year ago.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom comes out on June 22, 2018 with J.A. Bayona directing.

Now, if we could just get our claws on a full-length trailer. But it's still a nice moment, with Pratt's Owen Grady sharing a tender moment with what appears to be a baby velociraptor.
