"While we continually strategize on where we advertise on and offline, we are not now, and will not be running TV ads on Hannity", the company wrote in a tweet, tagging Media Matters' Twitter handle to make sure the activists saw it.

Hannity said Moore should be given the benefit of the doubt.

While fans of Hannity pushed for a boycott of the company, many other Twitter users using the hashtag #BoycottKeurig have said they are going to purchase a Keurig machine and support the company's decision.

But the move is not without effect, with supporters of the host posting #BoycottKeurig on Twitter, leading to the hashtag treading on the social media platform.

Some of the sponsors announced their decision not to run advertisements on Hannity's show via Twitter after the Fox News host asked his audience to give Moore the benefit of the doubt, according to CNBC News.

Fox News has yet to comment on the matter and a representative was not immediately available for a reply. The following day, Moore appeared on Hannity's radio show and denied the allegations.

Hannity was heavily criticized last week after implying that one of the alleged incidents between Moore and an accuser, who said the Alabama senatorial candidate touched her over her underwear and tried to force her to touch his genitals when she was 14 and he was 32, was consensual. "With the allegations against Judge Moore, none of us know the truth of what happened 38 years ago". "We are not running TV advertising on Hannity".

In one instance, Angelo Carusone, Media Matters' president, tagged a sponsor of Hannity's show while claiming that Hannity defends "sexually preying on children". By the time O'Reilly left the network in April, more than 60 advertisers had pulled out of his show, which at the time was the network's most popular program.
