Green Bay Packers rookie running back Aaron Jones looked poised to have a breakout year. Green Bay does not have a running back on the practice squad now. The rookie from UTEP is expected to miss three to six weeks.

Jones was replaced in Chicago by Ty Montgomery, who suffered another injury to his ribs and left Sunday's game in the first half. He remained the Packers' featured back even after Montgomery returned from injury, relegating the converted wide receiver to snaps on a situational basis. Mike McCarthy said Montgomery may be able to play this week.

But at this point, all signs point to him being extremely limited.

Williams ran the way he did in Provo - with power and persistence. He rushed for more than 100 yards in two games this season.

But then again, he only needs a few inches to pick up yardage. Montgomery was ruled out with a rib injury. Jamaal Williams and Devante Mays are the other options if the coaching staff wants to divide the workload.
