The Masquerade is an all ages music venue that recently relocated to Underground Atlanta.

The show's headliner was Cousin Stizz and the shooting occurred just before he was to take the stage.

One of the victims died at the scene from a gunshot to the chest, and another died at a local hospital. The two people who were wounded are expected to survive.

Police said the gunman was "not successfully detained".

Police in Atlanta are investigating after two people were shot and killed at a Cousin Stizz concert, ABC News reports. Police are still seeking the suspect and asking for witnesses to come forward.

Unarmed security saw the shooter, but were unable to catch him before he got away, said police.

Officials identified 21-year-old Ewell Ynoa, a 21-year-old aspiring rapper from Florida and Worcester, Mass., as one of the fatal victims; Friends identified Giovan Diaz from MA as the other man who died. Stizz's reps did not immediately respond to Complex's request for additional comment.

Two concert goers are dead following a shooting during a concert in Atlanta on Sunday. Fugazi, Public Enemy, Green Day, Nirvana, Childish Gambino, Future, Paramore, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Blink-182, and many others have graced one or more of the Masquerade's stages in the past.
