Rose Mc Gowan arrested

Actress Rose McGowan, a leading voice against sexual harassment in Hollywood, has accepted an arrest warrant on a drug charge in a Washington suburb.

Actress Rose McGowan was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance after police said she left luggage on a flight at Washington Dulles International Airport earlier this year that tested positive for narcotics. She was arrested, booked and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

The arrest happens after airport police found traces of narcotics in belongings she left behind at Washington Dulles International Airport after she arrived on a flight from Los Angeles on January 20.

The Hollywood Reporter said McGowan confirmed she was referring to disgraced media mogul Harvey Weinstein.

'Are they trying to silence me?

The Charmed star was under police investigation after two bags of cocaine were found in her purse after it was found on a United Airlines plane.

Rose previously speculated her arrest warrant might be in connection with her speaking out about Harvey Weinstein... Airports Authority Police Department got the warrant on February 1.

On October 31 she simply tweeted "FACT" in a retweet suggesting that if she had "taken the million dollars in hush money" from Weinstein, the warrant would not have been a news story.

In recent weeks, McGowan was named in a The New York Times exposé that detailed decades of sexual harassment and assult allegations against Weinstein. She added in her tweet about Affleck: "You lie".
