After launching its first bezel-less smartphone with an 18:9 aspect ratio display - the Pegasus 4S - in China earlier this month, Asus has now unveiled its second near bezel-less 18:9 display-sporting smartphone called the ZenFone Max Plus (M1). The phone has a fingerprint sensor in the back, room for two SIM slots and a microSD card, some form of facial recognition for authentication and it comes with 100 free gigabytes of Google Drive storage for a year.

The Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1 runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 4130mAh non removable battery.

Joining the bandwagon of 18:9 display trend, the Taiwanese multinational tech conglomerate has launched its Zenfone Max Plus (M1) smartphone. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and Global Positioning System connectivity options. The smartphone has a unimetal body design. A 16MP RGB sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor which captures 120-degree wide-angle images.

The front camera holds an 8 Megapixel unit with f/2.0 aperture.

The Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) is powered by a 4,130mAh battery. The dual cameras are placed in the top-left corner with LED flash on the right-hand side. Moreover, the battery comes with fast charging support.
