Zlatan Ibrahimovic : "Lions don't recover like humans" !

Will Zlatan help or hinder Lukaku

Will Zlatan help or hinder Lukaku

Former Manchester United forward Andy Cole chats with Alexis Nunes about the futures of Rashford and Martial, Jose Mourinho and a Lukaku-Ibrahimovic partnership.

He told Manchester United's official website: "I was fortunate to be in that position at United, having other players after your place, and that competition brings the best out of you".

In times like these, you can't help but love the sarcasm on Twitter. It's always better to have a full team. It was hard for them but they kept believing and worked hard to come back. In that moment, I just wanted to go out, smell the grass and just give back, play my game, touch the ball as much as possible, feel free to play, doing things I did before my injury, because I have not been able to do these things whilst I was injured.

However, former Manchester United defender Ferdinand enjoys watching Pogba unlock opposition defences with his hatful of tricks.

With Ibrahimovic sidelined by an injury, Pogba took centre-stage in the opening weeks of the current campaign as United made an impressive start to the season.Yet it was only during the period of absence brought on by the hamstring injury Pogba sustained against Basel on September 12 that his importance began to be truly acknowledged.

'It was more than the knee but I will keep it personal - that's why I choose not to talk of it'.

It was his eighth goal in 12 Premier League games.

Will Zlatan help or hinder Lukaku
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku fit for the first time this season

"Yes, I enjoyed my time out there (against New Castle)", said Ibrahimovic while acknowledging that he will need some time to be completely match fit.

Despite his injury, Zlatan looked very good on his return and will want to command regular first team football.

He added: "I don't think they can play together as a front two".

The veteran may be coming out of contract again, but he is unconcerned about his future.

In such a scenario, we can expect Mourinho to make more than a few changes in the starting XI that faced the Magpies at the weekend.
