Blake Lively is still filming her lead role in the thriller "The Rhythm Section", based on the Stephanie Patrick novels by Mark Burnell.

Last month, a makeup-free Lively was nearly unrecognizable when she sported a shorter and choppier dishwater-blond style as she sat on a sidewalk outside a fast food joint while filming the spy flick. "Production will resume as soon as possible", a spokesperson for the movie said in a statement.

What's with Blake Lively and the absolutely unrecognizable transformations lately? The film is scheduled for release in February 2019.

Modeling a fresh black pixie cut over the weekend, the Gossip Girl alum showed that she can pull off any dye job, even when wearing less than glamorous attire. After being told by a journalist that the crash was an act of terror covered up by intelligence agencies, and then watching that journalist get killed, the woman's anger awakens a new sense of goal and she rises to uncover the truth by adapting the identity of an assassin to track down those responsible.

"The Rhythm Section", which also stars "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" actor Jude Law, is being helmed by "The Handmaid's Tale" EP and director Reed Morano.
