God Of War's Release Date Has Potentially Leaked

God of War release date leaked on PSN

The PlayStation Store page for God of War briefly contained the release date of March 22nd, 2018 for the game.

According to Google Cache, the PlayStation Store listed God of War with a placeholder release date of December 31, 2018 release date up until December 3. It's also strengthened by the fact that the art book is listed on Amazon on March 15th, signifying that the game's release date would be around this date. Granted, it was a Tuesday that year (which is a typical day for PlayStation releases) and not Thursday (which is highly unusual), but it's likely that Sony wants to have the series be a genuine reboot down to having the same release day. I'd nearly bank on it being in the last week of March. March month make sense because the God of War franchise has traditionally launched in March. Let's not forget that The Game Awards and PlayStation Experience 2017 are mere days away - a confirmed God of War release date would be a big reveal for either event.

Much like most Sony-published games, God of War will retail for Rs. 3,999 in India and $60 in the US.

God of War is aiming for a new direction, taking on Norse mythology, running with a new voice actor and adding an entirely new gameplay dynamic to the previously thick and fast hack and slash action. The release date has since been swapped with a placeholder date, but not before numerous outlets were able to get a screen capture. However this will not be the case with God of War.
