Jason Aldean, Brittany Kerr Welcome Baby 2 Months After Surviving Vegas Shooting

(Radio.com) Congratulations to Jason Aldean and wife Brittany on the birth of their son Memphis.

Last night, the pair welcomed their first child together, a son named Memphis Aldean Williams, who was born at nine pounds and five ounces!

It's welcome news for the country music star who was performing onstage at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas when a gunman opened fire back in October, killing 58 people and injuring almost 500 others.

The country couple thrilled fans by revealing news of the pregnancy on Instagram in May, when Kerr posted a photo of the couple wearing matching "Baby Daddy/Baby Mama" shirts and sitting in front of a bed covered in blue and pink balloons.

Jason also shared the same snap, adding: 'So blessed to see my little man come into the world. "Hands down the happiest day of my life", Brittany noted on Instagram, thanking Aldean for the support "and enduring all the hand squeezing and nail digging". There are truly no words for the love we feel! "Thanks for the unbelievable support Jason and enduring all the hand squeezing and nail digging. We will never take one moment for granted & can't wait to meet you, sweet baby!"

Kerr Aldean was in the audience with her husband onstage when Stephen Paddock opened fire at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. The country star has two daughters - Kendyl, 10, and Keeley, 13 - from his previous marriage.
