Pink explains why she is raising her child as gender neutral

Pink is one of the top rock stars of all times and she believes in gender neutrality.

"We are a very label-less household", she told The Sunday People.

The "What About Us" singer, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, recently told the Mirror she doesn't want to impose gender norms or male or female identifiers on either of her two children, 6-year-old daughter Willow and 11-month-old son Jameson.

She has revealed that what made her decide on such a parenting style was the fact that six-year-old daughter Willow once told her she wanted "to marry an African woman" when growing up. I was like: "Great, can you teach me how to make African food?"'

"And she's like: 'Sure mama, and we are going to live with you while our house is getting ready, '" Pink continued. I took a picture of it and I wrote, "Progress".

"In the speech, Pink recounted the story, saying: "'Well what do you think I look like?' And she said, 'Well you're handsome.' And I was like, 'Well, thanks. "I love that kids are having this conversation", she says.

"I don't correct her", Pink said.

"Pink explained the conversation to the audience: "'Well what do you think I look like?' And she said, 'Well you're lovely.' And I was like, 'Well, thanks.

She also described how happy she was to see a gender-neutral bathroom in an elementary school. Do you see me changing my body? But when people make fun of me, that's what they use. I'm hoping somebody else makes a speech and teaches me before that day comes. At one point, they didn't have sex for an entire year. "And I should, because it's disrespectful, but it's like - "f*** it". And that's what "What About Us" is to me".

"I can't imagine being a third-grader and this being the first example of what it means to be President".

"I don't hand my wedding ring back every night like I used to 'cause that's just dumb, and I can't actually get it off", joked the singer. "It's un-f***ing-believable. I want to skip ahead to the part that it's over and we start the clean-up process".
