6 hurt after car crash sends vehicle onto sidewalk in Lower Manhattan

- Several pedestrians were hurt in a crash involving several cars in Lower Manhattan.

Multiple pedestrians were struck by a auto in Manhattan Thursday afternoon. One of the people injured was riding a bike. Three more people were hurt when the auto went up on the sidewalk.

The trio was hit at around 1:20 p.m.at Broadway and Liberty Street. Vehicle traffic in the area was closed as police investigated the situation.

Police said none of the injuries are considered life-threatening. It appeared the auto had jumped onto the curb where pedestrians were hit.

Video of the scene showed a black vehicle with NY license plates having sustained heavy front-end damage.
