Starbucks announced today that for a short time, it will be offering Christmas Tree Frappuccinos at stores in the U.S. and Canada.

The drink joins the chain's annual holiday cups, which this year feature intricate designs that customers can fill in themselves to create their own custom cup.

The Christmas Tree Frappuccino is a peppermint mocha creme frappuccino topped with Matcha whipped cream and it forms in the shape of a christmas tree.

Leave it to Starbucks to find a way to get you to drink something cold in December. This won't have as long a run as the peppermint mocha or gingerbread latte: It's available only between December 7 and December 11, and only in the USA and Canada. Then the "tree" is decorated with a "garland" of caramel drizzle, candied cranberry ornaments, all finished with a strawberry tree topper.

O' Christmas tree, O' Christmas tree!

If you dare to sample this festive concoction, you can do so now at your local Starbucks.

First there was the pink and purple Unicorn Frappuccino that baristas absolutely loathed making.

The over-the-top drink is just the latest in a succession of Instagrammable Starbucks Frappuccino, which have all caught the attention of fans with a sweet tooth and a smartphone.

It may not have the caffeine fix you're looking for but it'll definitely give you an extra rush of sugar during the holidays. It's also topped with whipped cream and Caramel Brulée topping.

While the Christmas Tree Frappuccino is clearly meant for Instagram, it breaks from the Unicorn Frappuccino tradition by actually tasting good. All you can do at that point is drink it and what's the point of that?
