On the portable front, Asus' ROG Strix SKT T1 Hero Edition is a laptop designed in conjunction with League of Legends team SK Telecom T1.

Next up is the ROG Strix GL12 desktop, which is powered by a hexa-core 8 generation Core i7 processor. The Flare will also be available in one of the latest additions to the Cherry MX line up announced previous year, the Cherry MX silver design which features a shorter actuation point of only 1.2mm and a maximum travel distance of 3.4mm; for reference the Cherry MX red switch has a 2mm actuation point and a 4mm total travel distance.

The Asus ROG Strix SKT T1 Hero Edition gaming laptop will not come cheap. It features a GTX 1080 GPU as well, so it should have no issue powering most new games, even at higher resolutions. A more practical element of the design is the expansion bay and eSports-ready easy-swap SSD tray. Pricing and availability of the ROG Spotlight are now unknown at the time of writing.

The lighting can be controlled with ASUS Aura Sync, which allows synchronized lighting on compatible devices such as keyboards, mice, and headphones.

We haven't mentioned Asus in our CES 2018 coverage so far but as usual the Taiwanese PC systems and components giant has a bountiful selection of new goodies to share in Las Vegas.

In addition to a number of releases announced today, ASUS ROG (Republic of Gamers) has released a brand new RGB mechanical keyboard and a unique RGB lighting accessory specifically aimed towards gamers. The wrist rest is also detachable if you wish to remove it.

The keyboard comes with a ROG themed case, for easy transport, as well as illuminated acrylic inserts, including a blank insert which you can customize with your own logo.

Asus also introduced ROG Aura Terminal addressable RGB controller with ROG Halo feature, and the Bezel-free Kit display accessory for immersive gaming experience. It features a magnetic base for secure attachment to any metal surfaces and provides 360 degrees of adjustment. It can pivot a full 360° to allow the object projected to always be upright no matter how the projector is mounted.

Next up is the Asus Bezel-free Kit, which is made of vertical refractive lenses meant to hide the bezels in multi-monitor setups.

Refraction of light from two adjacent monitors is made possible with the help of a transparent thermoplastic lens built using PMMA. This piece will be available Q2 2018 with pricing announced at launch.
