Christian Pulisic Net Worth 2018: How Much Is Soccer Player Worth?

Christian Pulisic has withering response for critic of American soccer system

Borussia Dortmund attacker Christian Pulisic is reportedly being targeted by Manchester United, who are ready to compete with arch-rivals Liverpool for the U.S. international's signature in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is seeking adequate reinforcement to strengthen his attack, and Pulisic is one of the players that caught his eye. He is fast, has great technical and dribbling skills, and efficiently penetrates the opponent's defenses.

"I've been right there, I see it every day; I literally went through the [German] system", Pulisic said.

The German would be the ideal coach to teach Pulisic how to handle pressure.

With nine goals in 20 caps for the United States as well, Pulisic looks set for stardom, and it has long seemed like a matter of time before Premier League clubs eyed up major bids.

Manchester United has expressed interest in signing United States midfielder Christian Pulisic from Germany's Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to multiple reports, potentially pitting the club against Premier League rival Liverpool in a battle for the 19-year-old.

It's an indication of how real Christian Pulisic is.

Pulisic - who was a boyhood United fan - has seven goals and one assist in all competitions this season, and his budding potential could see his value skyrocket as the American is considered one of the most promising teenagers in world football.

Liverpool chiefs have identified the attacker as a summer target and are expected to make their move when the season ends. Reading between the lines of his thoughts on the USA national team after its World Cup failure, he seems to believe that "a new kind of player", perhaps on a similar level to his own, for the game make a giant leap forward in his native land. I'm learning a lot: "tactically, technically, gaining strength". I know no one means harm to me like that or wanting to put too much pressure on me. "How they grow their youth players into full professionals... you're fighting really for a pro contract even better and I think if we continue to do that then of course players will come up and there will be new talents and new things going on", he explained.
