Weinstein - who is accused of sexual harassment, assault or rape by dozens of women - was walking out of Elements in Scottsdale after dinner when a man, only identified as Steve, hit him twice in the face with his backhand, according to TMZ, which published the footage. The man reportedly told Weinstein that he loved his movies and asked to take a photo with him, but the film producer declined. The restaurant manager said that Weinstein was polite about denying the request, but Steve claimed that the embattled former studio head was "belligerent". The man repeatedly hurled obscenities at Weinstein before slapping him twice with the back of his hand.

He then reportedly went up to Weinstein and threw two punches, forcing him backwards and nearly off his feet.

A restaurant manager says neither attempted punch connected, and the guy was drunk and out of control.

Harvey Weinstein and his coach went to leave the restaurant around 9pm. Steve and his dinner companion chose to leave at the same time.

Weinstein declined to call police.

Harvey Weinstein braved heading out from behind closed doors after being accused by multiple women of sexual abuse, harassment and rape late a year ago. He reportedly told Weinstein that he was a 'piece of s***' for what he did to those 'women.' Steve claims he got two good punches in, landing them right on Harvey's face.

Previously, the man admitted to TMZ that he had "quite a bit to drink", and that he had asked his friend to "fire up his cell phone and shoot video of what was about to happen".
