How to attack the media like Stephen Miller, in 3 easy steps

'You've wasted enough time': Jake Tapper cuts off Stephen Miller after he goes berserk over tell-all book

On Sunday, CNN's State of the Union, with host Jake Tapper, chose to bring on White House Policy Advisor, Stephen Miller to, basically, defend Donald Trump, both from the mounting claims that Donald Trump is mentally unstable, as well as from all of the claims made against the Trump administration in Michael Wolff's new book, Fire and Fury. Continuing the drama, Miller reportedly also had to be escorted out of the studio by security after ignoring several polite requests to leave.

The tell-all book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House", by Michael Wolff, has prompted a swift backlash from Trump and his White House.

In the on-air interview, Tapper asked Miller about the Trump's statement on Stephen Bannon, who said negative comments about the president in Wolff's book.

Senior Advisor to the President for Policy Stephen Miller talks to reporters about President Donald Trump's support for creating a "merit-based immigration system" in the James Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House August 2, 2017 in Washington, DC.

The president also blasted Tapper as a "CNN flunky".

In an appearance on Fox News Monday, Miller told host Tucker Carlson that the story about him being escorted off the CNN set was "not true", but he did not offer specifics about which aspects of the story were inaccurate.

When Tapper asked if Miller had any first-hand knowledge of Trump meeting the Russians who visited his Manhattan office in Trump Tower in June 2016, Miller grew combative.

Responding to claims he is suffering mental decline, the president fired back and said he was never interviewed for it - hours after declaring himself a "very stable genius" on Twitter. Miller initially brought up Trump's statement on Bannon's quotes in the book, in which he said that "Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency".

Stephen Miller, Trinity '07, butted heads with Jake Tapper in a heated interview on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday.

It's worth noting that in this instance, Miller's instinct for self-preservation appears to have overridden his charge to cover for Trump. "Now I have to put up with a Fake Book, written by a totally discredited author".

MILLER: Hey Jake, you know who I care about?

Miller has been a steadfast supporter of Trump since the beginning of the former T.V. reality host's presidential campaign in 2015. "And the whole White House staff is deeply disappointed in his comments, which were grotesque", he said, using the adjective again. But, really, we are against people who don't tell the truth.
