During a Nintendo Direct Mini today, Nintendo revealed Mario Tennis Aces, which is coming to Switch in Spring 2018.

Two new DLC waves are in the works for the Switch version of Pokken Tournament that adds new fighters and support Pokemon. The Deluxe Battle Pack will be a paid DLC and the content will be dropped in two waves. Wave 1 arrives January 31 and Wave 2 arrives on March 23. Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will be releasing on the Switch this Spring.

The Dynasty Warriors-themed Zelda game originally debuted on the Wii U, and later the 3DS, but now it's time for the adventure to come to the Nintendo Switch this Spring.

Not only that, the Ultimate Edition will also include Breath Of the Wild themed costumes and couch co-op.

Mario Tennis Aces will feature a new Story Mode and boss battles. These include full touch screen menu support, rumble feature when shooting or throwing grenades, and a local multiplayer mode. During a recent Nintendo Direct Mini broadcast, the company announced "Mario Tennis #Aces" for the Nintendo Switch. Players will be able to mix some abilities while playing with friends in co-op. Fe, a lovely stylized platform adventure game is coming on February 16.

From Software's critically acclaimed hit Dark Souls will find a new home on the Nintendo Switch this Summer with the release of Dark Souls Remastered.

Plus, the Nintendo Switch version of Payday 2 see a new playable character named Joy a Japanese computer whiz who wears a custom LED light mask that changes her appearance as she sees fit. The game will launch later this year but no specific release window has been announced.

Super Mario Odyssey is getting a free update that adds a new post-game online mode. The update will also include some new filters for the photo mode along with three new outfits. The Wii U's underratedDonkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is getting ported to the Switch, out on May 4th. It arrives February 27. Celeste release date for the Nintendo Switch is January 25.

If anyone doubted that Nintendo is serious about building on the success of the Switch in 2018, this morning's announcements should go a long way toward convincing them otherwise. The game will be updated with a new character, Funky Kong. The game will be available on May 25, 2018.

The Nintendo Direct had a very different trailer, detailing more of the gameplay and mechanics.

While I'll probably end up replaying Dark Souls: Remastered on PC to get the maximum effect of the redone art, it's nice to know that Nintendo is looking to court games and developers generally preferred by more hardcore types.
