In the clip, the heavily bearded "Late Show" veteran sits onstage with Obama, who recalls his time dancing with daughter Sasha and the musician Prince, just a few months before the singer's untimely death in 2016.

Barack Obama has "dad moves", and he knows it.

Says Obama, "Prince asks me to come up and dance [and] she pulls me up, which surprises me because she mocks my dancing".

We'd previously reported that the 44th President of the United States of America would be Letterman's first guest on his new show, and now we have a fresh teaser with which to whet appetites accordingly.

Obama then talks about the key to dancing as a parent, which he calls "staying in the pocket". "You gotta stay in the pocket, because I think everybody here knows dads who get out of the pocket".

The first episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction streams Friday, January 12th on Netflix.

"You never know when you might learn something, and that's what this is about for me".

For the full interview, watch "My Next Guest" on Netflix Friday. A new episode will debut on the streaming service every month in 2018, with guests like George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, JAY-Z, Tina Fey, and Howard Stern.

Letterman, whose show is bringing him back on television or other screens since he left "The Late Show" in 2015, was on air for over three decades.

As of now, the Netflix show will have six episodes, with each of them being an hour long, by estimation.
