Pakistan suspends intelligence sharing, military cooperation with US

Referring to Trump's new strategy, Nauert said despite a sustained high-level engagement by Trump administration with the government of Pakistan, the Taliban and the Haqqani Network continue to find sanctuary inside Pakistan as they plot to destabilize Afghanistan and also attack the USA and allied personnel.

Sufi Mohammad will be freed and the paperwork for his release has already been processed, defense lawyer Fida Gul recently said.

Defence Minister Khurram Dastgir said that Pakistan is consolidating its gains made in the war against terrorism and regional and global powers should cooperation instead of criticising it.

He is also the father-in-law of Mullah Fazlullah, the leader of the Taliban offshoot in Pakistan who is believed to be hiding in Afghanistan.

Pompeo further added "We are doing our best to inform the Pakistanis that this is no longer going to be acceptable". National Security Committee in its emergent meeting under chairmanship of PM Abbasi in Islamabad has reviewed President Trump's latest tirade against Pakistan and despite its being quite provocative has quite wisely decided not to react to this in haste at all.

It came days after US President Donald Trump tweeted that Pakistan had rewarded past US aid with "nothing but lies & deceit".

The remarks came as the U.S. in recent days stepped up efforts to put pressure on Pakistan to do more to combat terrorism. "No more!" the president added.

Pakistan officials repeatedly lied barefacedly that there were no terror groups on its soil and it was a frontline state fighting terror with sacrifices etc., even as the establishment publicly embraced and attempted to politically mainstream its UN-designated terrorist.

"Our country witnessed the worst bloodbath".

Neta C. Crawford, the author of a study - "Update on the Human Costs of War for Afghanistan and Pakistan, 2001 to mid-2016" - released in November 2017, endorses Islamabad's claim that the war in Pakistan "began as Al Qaeda and the Taliban fled from Afghanistan into the northwest region of Pakistan in 2001". "For the past four years, we have been clearing the debris..."

The court's decision could further inflame U.S.

The US has conveyed "specific and concrete" steps to Pakistan that it could take to eliminate terror networks on its soil without any distinction, a Pentagon official said today.

The development comes amid rising U.S.

But there have always been reservations and resentment in Washington about Pakistan stiffing the U.S. both in the reasoning and the billing process relating to CSF, while at the same time providing safe havens to terror groups that attack USA troops in.
