"Tom Holland was on set filming scenes on Venom for at least two days as Peter Parker", Jon Schnepp said on YouTube.

While Venom's production team, Holland, and Marvel Studios leader Kevin Feige all have remained mum about the fact that Spider-Man will face off in the film, pop culture aficionado Jon Schnepp has stated that they have been keeping one massive secret from the fans. I'm not saying Spider-Man is in the film.

However, Sony was meanwhile planning their own superhero universe using Spider-Man characters. However, thanks to recent rumors, Venom may have more connections to the MCU than previously expected. This would allow the film to finally give fans something that they have wanted for some time: Spider-Man facing off against his greatest foe on the big screen in a film that isn't called Spider-Man 3.

"No. No. I think the folks there are making a great Venom movie, and I don't know much about it but I know they're off to a great start with Tom Hardy". Further, it would mean that characters used in Sony's films - Venom, Silver Sable, and Black Cat - could potentially appear in Marvel movies, though that still seems unlikely (and even more unlikely is the potential for any Marvel Studios characters beyond Spider-Man appearing in one of Sony's movies). For starters, Venom is going to be Rated-R, so now Disney has the Spider-Man character appearing in an R-rated movie.

Tom Holland may grace "Venom" after all, but not in the Spidey suit. Holland has become notorious for accidentally leaking Marvel secrets so if he does have a part, it's likely we'll get a hint of it from his social media presence - that is, of course, unless Sony takes extreme measures to protect this secret. But Schnepp has speculated that it may have something to do with how Hardy's Eddie Brock comes in contact with the symbiote, which may or may not be something the webcrawler picks up during the events in "Avengers: Infinity War" that is due out in the USA on May 4.

We'll find out if this rumor turns out to be true when Venom opens on October 5th.
