In a new "State of Development" blog post, Epic games addressed the service stability issues that many players encountered while playing the game. These include improved console building controls, expanded team communication, the ability to re-queue from the death screen, a larger map with zoom functionality, and much more. Thus, seeing the encouraging reactions from the fans, the company now plans to come out with more limited time modes, which it internally refers to as LTM, notes Polygon.

"We've been using multiple data points (including your feedback) to iterate our existing LTM's and to build brand new LTM's", Epic said. "We are planning to quickly spin up a dozen or so LTMs, some of these may be more straightforward (e.g. along the lines of Sniper Shootout, Sneaky Silencer etc.)", the game developer said.

With the player base developing on a daily basis, Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, have remained in constant contact with the community in regards to a series of changes and fixes for the game since its release, including a collection of updates to introduce a variety of new content. Right now the developers are prototyping some brand new weapon types and consumables, along with expanding the melee types in the game.

In a Reddit post, the developer explained that the concept of "vaulting" doesn't just apply to the SMG.

The announcement has named a number of modes that players can expect to see over the next month and they even teased possible future variations including a "floor is lava" game. Going forward, a new method for communication would be dropped in the game soon.

Epic Game's co-op survival title, Fortnite is set to get a 60fps mode for all consoles - optimised for whichever platform you happen to own. It would be interesting to see if PUBG has achieved a new record when combining concurrent players for the PC and Xbox One version, but no such information has been revealed yet.
