Frontier announces new direct flight from Omaha

Frontier Airlines has announced dozens of seasonal routes that will begin operations beginning in April.

Representatives from the city of San Antonio and Frontier Airlines announced that a non-stop flight to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), the main airport serving North Carolina's Research Triangle.

The newly added flights are available for purchase now at flyfrontier.com with introductory fares as low as $39 each way. "We look forward to driving new visitors to and from The Seaside Golf Capital of the World with our unique brand of Low Fares Done Right". Frontier will fly to 12 destinations from the airport in NY state, it says.

Austin is the latest expansion by Frontier in Omaha.

Helen Hill, chief executive officer of Explore Charleston added, "It is always exciting to open new nonstop markets to Charleston". RIAC said Fronteir is also the only carrier to provide a nonstop flight to Austin.

The airline plans to begin the only nonstop flights to Austin, Texas and Trenton, New Jersey in April.

Frontier flies one of the youngest fleets in the industry consisting of 79 Airbus A320 Family jet aircraft.

Frontier now offers a total of 10 destination flights from T.F. Green which, according to RIAC, is the most of any carrier operating out of the airport.
