The Cavaliers' busy trade deadline now includes trades for Jazz swingman Rodney Hood and Kings guard George Hill, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

One interesting aspect of the blockbuster trade that sent Rodney Hood to Cleveland was that Derrick Rose got moved over to Utah.

The Cleveland Cavaliers completely overhauled their backcourt at Thursday's National Basketball Association trade deadline, and Derrick Rose is on his way out of town in addition to Isaiah Thomas.

Hood, Hill, and Johnson were amongst some of the biggest names being thrown out in trade talks leading up to the deadline. Only $1 million of the $18 million on his 2019-20 contract is guaranteed.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Alonzo Gee (15) fouls Utah Jazz guard Rodney Hood (5) during the National Basketball Association game between the Utah Jazz and the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA. Especially Iman, who also leaves as a champion and was another part of a special group that earned success at the highest level here.

The Kings also are acquiring Bruno Caboclo from the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Malachi Richardson.

Hood is averaging a career-high 16.7 points per game this season.

The New York Times' Marc Stein reported Thursday that Timberwolves head coach and president of basketball operations Tom Thibodeau "has interest in a reunion" with Rose following their days together with the Chicago Bulls.

Hill has appeared in 43 games for Sacramento this season en route to making 36 starts. The 27-year-old forward is a versatile defender, and a proven 3-point shooter on the wing. Hill, who has been linked to the Cavs for weeks, is averaging 10.3 points and shooting 45% from three three-point line. He missed 25 games earlier this season after having arthroscopic surgery to correct fluid buildup in his left knee.
