Kim Cattrall slams 'cruel' Sarah Jessica Parker for reaching out after brother's death

Kim Cattrall has slammed her "Sex and the City" co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, calling her a "hypocrite" after she expressed her condolences following the death of the actor's brother.

Before Cattrall's Instagram call out, ET was with Parker on Thursday, who elaborated on her decision to reach out to her former colleague despite their strained relationship. Their Sex and the City co-star Cynthia Nixon also commented on the Instagram post, and it appeared that Cattrall had accepted her former colleagues' condolences, despite alleging they were not friends in an interview with Piers Morgan previous year (17).

"Let me make this VERY clear. You are not my friend" and urged Parker to "stop exploiting our tragedy". (If I haven't already) You are not my family. She shared the post alongside a screenshot of a message that read: "I don't need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker".

But when he left after the second season and was replaced by Parker's friend Michael Patrick King, Cattrall was completely isolated.

"I just feel grateful, I think television is hard and so many times you never know if it's going to work or not, so I always just enjoy it for as long as it's on", Shannon said. Then, Parker kept up the pressure, speaking in interviews about how Cattrall was not willing to come back.

Divorce airs weekly on Sundays on HBO.

The New York Post reported how, during an Atlantic City, NJ, location shoot, "Sarah Jessica rented a house for herself, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon".

Cattrall, who's now 61, told Piers Morgan she's not up for making sacrifices for her career anymore. And the whole thing is pretty upsetting. It was a professional experience, but it became personal because it was years and years of our lives, so I hope that eclipses anything that's been recently spoken.
