Rajinikanth's upcoming flick 'Kaala' to release on April 27

Rajinikanth starrer 'Kaala' release date and official poster announced

Rajinikanth starrer 'Kaala' release date and official poster announced

Rajinikanth once worked with PA Ranjith for the earlier movie titled Kabali and it was a disaster in Telugu but it went with good numbers in Tamil Nadu.

Rajinikanth's Kaala is all set to hit the screens on April 27, 2018.

The main plot of Kaala revolves around the oppressed Tamil of Mumbai and Rajinikanth will be reportedly seen playing the role of a don. In the poster, Rajinikanth looks savage and seems to fight for the rights of people. Since VFX studios across the globe have been entrusted with creating the graphics, the makers were finding it hard to release the film on 27 April as announced earlier.

"Although Shankar has been working round the clock with the post-production of 2.0, the CGI portions are taking longer than expected".

While speculation was rife that Kaala would release only in August, the April release date has brought cheer to the fans of the actor, who widely shared the poster across social media sites on Saturday evening.

Music is composed by Santhosh Narayan. And we are sure that Kaala will be equally entertaining if not more.

(G.N.S) DT. 11 Produced by Dhanush's production house, "Kaala" has an ensemble supporting cast including Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani, Anjali Patil and Sampath Raj in important roles.

Given the hype around the release of 2.0 in an industry witnessing increased piracy, makers of the sci-fi are taking several measures to minimise chances of a leak.

Kaala is Rajinikanth's second collaboration with director Ranjith.
