Huawei Y9 2018 with four cameras, 4000mAh battery launched



The display is 5.93-inch IPS LCD offering FHD+ resolution and supporting 2160 x 1080 pixels. Price of the smartphone is yet to be announced, however, it is likely to cost somewhere around 200 Euros (approximately Rs 16,000). It as well bears the 18:9 aspect ratio display. Rumor has it that the camera setup consists of a 16MP sensor and a 2MP one. In the same way, it is speculated that the upcoming Huawei P20 Lite may debut in select markets as Nova 3e. The device is available in three color options, the black, the blue, and the gold.

The Huawei Y9 (2018) adopts trending 18:9 display and it has become the norm these days. There is an octa-core Cortex A53 HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor clocked at 2.36GHz. Memory department gets the phone equipped with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM, expandable up to 256 GB via microSD.

The smartphone operates on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box with Huawei's own EMUI 8.0.

Further, the phone could be backed by a 3000 mAh battery and come with 4G VoLTE support. The smartphone offers a dual SIM configuration and a fingerprint sensor for security. On the front, we get a 13 MP selfie shooter which is also assisted by a secondary 2 MP camera. Pricing and availability details are unknown at the moment. The Huawei Y9 shares a lot in common with the Mate 10 Lite launched back in October 2017 but features a redesigned package. Recall that the basic of the four models of the new series P20, the announcement of which is scheduled for March 27 this year.
