It's hard for a star child to succeed in Bollywood: Kareena Kapoor

Karisma Kapoor took to her Instagram to share a photograph with Hillary Clinton and Kareena Kapoor Khan on Saturday evening. But Taimur's birth far exceeded that frenzy. At a recent event that Kareena attended, she was questioned about the controversy that surrounded Taimur's name.Talking about that time, Kareena revealed that Saif had given in to public pressure and wanted to change his name to Faiz.

Sister Karisma too joined the discussion and asserted, "I think it is about the talent that takes you where you go".

"It (my heart) beats in this gorgeous-looking boy, who I see every night sleep and everything is in his two tiny little hands", Kareena said.

"Saif was so tense seeing Bebo (Kareena) in that state. Today, he is the love of the country and of the world", she said. "There is nothing wrong in that". Kareena cited the example of Padmaavat star Ranveer Singh, saying the actor made it big in Bollywood on his own, without having any familial ties.

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor Khan said in an official statement, "It's an honour to return to India Today Conclave and I am very excited as I will be sharing the stage with one of my inspirations, my sister Karisma Kapoor". If nepotism exists everyone would have been superstars and Number 1.

"There are so many superstars from yesteryears and not all of their children are a superstar".

Karisma Kapoor dismissed the widespread myth about the first family of Bollywood (the Kapoors) that they do not allow their daughters-in-laws to work in films, reported news agency IANS.

Kareena was of the opinion that it's hard for children of stars to live up to the name of their legacy.

"It is about talent, we maybe children or grandchildren of somebody but once you are on the silver screen you are that part".

"And for a youngster who has a huge family and legacy behind, is much tough to make a mark", she added.
