New leaks show a three-lens AI camera on Huawei's upcoming P20 flagship

Ahead of the launch, Evan Blass has released the official press renders of the trio of Huawei P20 phones.

The images clearly show the external differences between the Huawei P20 Lite, the Huawei P20, and the Huawei P20 Pro.

As also rumoured earlier, two out of the three Huawei phones will come with dual rear cameras, while the third one will sport three camera sensors at the back.

Huawei are about to launch their new flagship phone the P20 later this month and new rumours have surfaced that at least one of the new devices will have a triple camera configuration on the rear. The leaked images reveal that all the smartphones will come loaded with an Apple iPhone X-like top notch along with the bezel-less display.

Meanwhile, the Huawei P20 Lite was found listed on TENAA, which reveals some key specifications of the device. However, considering the number of leaks that we have across about the smartphone, the P20 Lite is very likely to be a part of the event.

Both renders feature the rear of the smartphone more prominently than the notched front, showing just how important the three-lens camera is to the upcoming device.

The P20 series marks Huawei's 3rd year of collaboration with LEICA and for the P20 Pro, they are doing something extra with a triple camera setup. For the front, there will be a 24-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone is expected to have a 6 inch 2160 x 1080 px IPS LCD display with a notch on the top. Under the hood, it will have the HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset along with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Interestingly, it seems that the P20 and P20 Pro will feature a matte finish, while the P20 Lite will come with glossy finish at the back.

While the smartphone will be thin, it is expected to house a big battery that will support SuperCharge. According to Quandt, the Huawei P20 will be priced at €679 (Rs 54,000 approximately), the P20 Pro is expected at €899 (Rs 72,000 approximately), whereas the P20 Lite will be the cheapest of all, at €369 (Rs 30,000 approximately).
