The device will feature a vertically-aligned dual-lens rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, a laser autofocus system, and a circular fingerprint sensor below it. However, many speculated that the company chose to uncancel and named the device as the LG G7 ThinQ since nearly but not quite every other Android phone makers are also apparently imitating the iPhone X.

According to BGR, the South Korean electronics company LG really did consider canceling the previously called LG G7 possibly for the reason that the device seems to steal the design of the current iPhone X, which was believed to be the first iPhone in four years to receive a major redesign. Users will be able to switch between the two lenses to take a photo, and the AI smarts of the G7 ThinQ will be able to suggest which is the better option.

But now, Android Headlines have managed to gather information regarding the specs of the upcoming LG G7 ThinQ. This could help the phone take pictures in low-light settings. This is the second smartphone from LG to come with the ThinQ branding. As far as AndroidHeadlines is concerned, this is going to be exactly the same rear camera setup offered with the G7 ThinQ. The secondary camera will feature a 107-degree field-of-view, while the primary camera will include a glass lens with an f/1.6 aperture. We've confirmed a number of things including the Snapdragon 845 SoC, iris scanner, Quick Charge 4.0, a bigger display, and AI features.

LG will also improve the audio capabilities of the G7 ThinQ with a Boombox Speaker.

In addition, the smartphone is also expected to feature Google Assistant. The leaked documents don't reveal what these are, but they will likely relate to the AI technologies.

If you have been waiting for LG's next flagship smartphone, we finally have a launch date. We will find out everything in under a month's time at the official reveal in Seoul on 3 May.
