Yes! Batwoman is Finally Joining the Arrowverse!

The announcement was made by Arrow's Stephen Amell at The CW's Upfronts event.

The CW's President Mark Pedowitz expanded on Amell's announcement, revealing that they would add "the city of Gotham into the Arrowverse" in a "full-throttled action packed event". Kane is a wealthy heiress who becomes inspired by Batman and chooses to also put her wealth and resources towards a campaign to fight crime as a masked vigilante in her home of Gotham City. The character will be "fighting alongside" The CW's heroes, Amell said, with the crossover airing in December. Over the past four years, we've seen the Green Arrow team with The Flash, Supergirl and the time-traveling Legends of Tomorrow. Batwoman is set to finally join the Arrowverse during this year's four-way crossover event, which will be spread out over three consecutive nights.

Fans have been clamoring for a live-action Batwoman aka Kate Kane, who has previously appeared in the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which premiered on Cartoon Network in 2008.

With such a long career in comics, Batwoman will certainly make a great addition to the Arrowverse and could even be a gateway into Gotham City itself. The character was first introduced in Detective Comics in 1956 and was reimagined for DC Comics' New 52 as a Jewish lesbian. This version is named Kate Kane, a tough-as-nails former military school student, and is actually Bruce Wayne's cousin on his mother's side.

The CW's annual Arrow-verse crossover is introducing a new DC Comics favorite.
