Authorities say a patrol officer located 39-year-old Taheerah Ahmad in her vehicle in downtown Tulsa, and she was taken into custody without incident.

"She has been taken into custody and the 7-year-old is with us", the Tulsa Police Department posted on Facebook. Police issued an Amber Alert for the missing 7-year-old. A house burns near Casitas Pass Road as the Thomas Fire continues to grow on December 10, 2017 near Carpinteria, California.

At some point, her two youngest daughters were able to escape their home - just as Ahmad started stabbing her eldest child repeatedly, police told the Tulsa World.

The search ended Tuesday afternoon, when Ahmad and her 7-year-old daughter were found in a parking lot in Tulsa.

Tulsa Police Officer Jeanne MacKenzie says the 7-year-old girl, Hafsa Hayle, helped her 9-year-old sister escape, and the 9-year-old ran to a nearby house for help.

A woman allegedly stabbed her daughter, burned down the house and kidnapped another daughter before police found her. She drives a 2005 Lexus RX-300 SUV with a paper license tag, though she may now be driving a navy Ford sedan.

Upon entering, officials saw the stabbed girl, and a kitchen that was set on fire.

An Amber Alert was issued for the 7-year-old girl.

"The 9-year-old sibling of the 11-year-old stated that, earlier in the evening, that the mother had duct-taped their hands, put socks in their mouths and then began stabbing the 11-year-old", Tulsa Police officer Jeannie McKenzie said. MacKenzie said there was no known history of child abuse or domestic violence.
