SEVERE POSSIBLE TUESDAY: The Storm Prediction Center now has Central PA in a MARGINAL risk for severe weather Tuesday.

Forecasters expect generally cloudy skies throughout the mid-valley on Election Day, with highs around 70. SE winds up to 15 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

The risk for showers or thunderstorms will return to the forecast later this week with warm and humid conditions. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. East winds 5 to 10 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 10%. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52.

Friday will remain mostly cloudy with the chance for a few thunderstorms.

Tonight: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. South southeast wind 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Today: Mostly sunny, hotter, p.m. storms. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Bad news - overcast skies persist with off-and-on light showers possible Wednesday through Saturday. Cloudy, with a low around 72. Cloudy, with a high near 86.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Northeast wind around 10 miles per hour.

Sunday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

This is the type of pattern when you can get showers and storms at just about any time of day or night.
