Honor 10 launch inivite.. Honor

Honor has launched its new flagship, the Honor 10, at a special product launch event held in London. That is coupled with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB storage. We'll be going hands-on for a review soon, so keep an eye out!

The smartphone uses Huawei's own AI-powered Kirin 970, the same chipset that can be seen on the P20 Pro, P20, and View 10. Also up front is a 5.84-inch FHD+ display. The flagship smartphone runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with the latest EMUI 8.1 on top.

Similar to other recent flagship phones from Huawei, the Honor 10 will use a HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC which has a built-in neural processor unit that we first say on the Mate 10 Pro, this NPU will handle the AI features built into the phone.

In addition to the screen cutout on top, Honor 10 also has a bottom bezel like the Huawei P20 smartphones.Honor 10 features Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingeprint sensor which is placed at the bottom bezel.

The front facing camera also has a massive 24MP sensor and AI, with support for 3D facial recognition.

In terms of design, the Honor 10 immediately impresses with its colors, and handsome light effects are created on the body. If that wasn't enough, Honor's choice of colours for the Honor 10, Phantom Blue and Midnight Black, is crazier still. Honor has earmarked this area with dots, to let you know that that's where you need to press to unlock your phone.

In the Huawei P20's case that's paired with 4GB of RAM, while the Honor 10 is landing in both 4GB and 6GB versions (4GB in the UK). It is widely speculated that upcoming Honor 10 would be available at a price of around Rs 35,000. Both of them have an aperture of f/1.8 and also there's PDAF for fast focusing. "That's what we work hard for everyday at Honor". Honor claims the phone's AI technology can identify more than 500 distinct shooting scenarios across 22 categories, allowing it to intelligently apply camera settings to each shot.

The cameras on the Honor 10 also come with some AI (Artificial Intelligence) based features that help you take better photos.

So the Honor 10's screen is ever so slightly larger, higher resolution and sharper, but it really is a very small difference.

The phone is expected to start selling in India, exclusively on Flipkart, from 15 May And will be priced at Rs 32,999. Moreover, it comes with a decently large 3,400mAh battery.

Launch offers include: up to Rs 5,000 off over regular exchange valid from May 16 to May 18. The cool bit comes with the light-catching blue - which does a colour gradient shift from blue to purple.
