It's Cleveland versus Golden State, again, in fourth round

LeBron James and the Cavaliers win Game 6 against Celtics 109-99

In last year's NBA Finals, Rihanna took her commitment to supporting James to another level as she apparently yelled "Brick!" while the Golden State Warriors' Kevin Durant was shooting a free throw.

The Boston Celtics' season ended at home for the second consecutive season in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cavaliers, but there is more optimism in Boston this season than there was last season.

His eighth straight NBA Finals sets up as one of his most hard, flanked by a largely unheralded set of teammates who force him to do much more at 33 than most other players are ever asked. James was his usual Game 7 self, dropping 35 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists and two blocks in a complete game performance. He then penetrated into the paint before leaving his feet. He took over with his defense, sweeping rebounds off the glass and blocking shots. Rozier, to his credit, went up strong but it just wasn't enough and the result was James standing and staring him down after sending his effort back.

Once again he demonstrated that he is The Best Ever. "That's Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Russell".

Game 7 was James' 100th game of the season. He totaled 81 points, 26 rebounds and 18 assists without Love.

Boston could trade Gordon Hayward, but I don't see them doing that, especially since the reason why Hayward signed with the Boston Celtics is to be with Brad Stevens, his former college coach at Butler. Is he a the best player the National Basketball Association has ever seen?

Win a Game 7. He needed help, and Green, the former Celtic, provided it with 19 points, 9 coming on a trio of timely three-pointers. "The great quote from the great Doc Rivers is you always want to go into the Game 7 with the best player, and we have the best player on our team going into a Game 7". They'll be known as one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference because of what they've proven along their path. The Celtics rookie caught the ball beyond the 3-point arc. In the fourth quarter, the outcome still in doubt, they resorted to quick threes and missed. He scored in single digits in the first five games of the series against Boston, and he shot just 34.2% from the field in the first round against Indiana. They had been a flawless 10-0 at home this postseason. That's the second-highest total in league history, falling just one point shy of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's 352 points in 1970 (though the the-Lew Alcindor did it in just 10 games).

Cleveland became the first team to win on the road in the series and the first to beat the Celtics at home in the postseason.
