"It's true, Israel isn't alone". On Sunday, Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, the Sephardi chief rabbi of Israel, praised Trump at an event in Jerusalem, calling him "a king of kindness".

The exact word Yosef used was "kushi", a term "in modern Hebrew [that] has pejorative connotations", the Times of Israel reported at the time.

"We imagine that it's attainable for each side to achieve greater than they provide so all individuals can reside in peace, secure from hazard, free from worry and capable of pursue their goals", Kushner stated.

The Anti-Defamation League said that the remarks were "utterly unacceptable", but Yosef's office defended the remarks by stating he was "merely citing the Talmud", which is a set of Jewish laws which states that the same blessing is recited upon seeing an elephant, a monkey or an ape.

He had also gotten into trouble before for suggesting secular women behave like "animals" because they dress immodestly.

When the Trump administration announced its intention to move its US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, global leaders and foreign-policy experts predicted an early end to Jared Kushner's "ultimate deal".

Late Show host Stephen Colbert slammed President Donald Trump's daughter and son-in-law's appearance in Israel on Sunday, branding the couple "peace treaty Barbie and collusion Ken".

The presidency of Donald Trump has long championed domestic racism with related programs and people who do harm to people of color, but the administration took its apparent anti-Black agenda global for the events surrounding the opening of the recently relocated USA embassy in Israel this weekend.

The White House advisers will attend the embassy inauguration ceremony scheduled for Monday along with other Washington delegates, including US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan and US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. "In response to moving the embassy, deadly violence has broken out".

That jab there referred to, of course, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner - the quip was met with cheers and applause from the audience.
