Jersey promise could leave Browns player in red if Cavs win

Damarious Randall might have to dig deep into his pockets should the Cavaliers best the Warriors in the NBA Finals. With jerseys going for $99.99 on NFL Shop, that would put Randall on the hook for roughly $10 million, which could be problematic seeing as how the 25-year-old is slated to earn a base salary of just over $1 million this season.

Recently retired Browns left tackle Joe Thomas joked with Randall about a wager of his own in response.

His posts about the Cavs vs. Warriors matchup didn't sit well with Cleveland fans.

But unfortunately for Randall, the message quickly went viral, amassing hundreds of thousands of retweets and showing no signs of slowing down.

Randall's promise was born out of his apparent support for Stephen Curry and the Warriors.

He's a Golden State Warriors fan.

That tweet had 122,000 retweets as of Tuesday afternoon, so Randall would be in deep trouble money-wise if the Cavaliers pull off an improbable upset. Now, Randall shouldn't be expected just to root for the Cavs just because his new team happens to share a city with the franchise.
