Damon Wayans Claims Clayne Crawford Injured Him on Deadly Weapon Set

The tweets included graphic video and pictures of Wayan's own injury sustained while filming stunts in an episode directed by Crawford.

The actor also posted a photo of a pole with a printed out photo of Crawford on it. "Clayne Crawford is an emotional terrorist", the poster read. Wayans wrote, "Since @warnerbrostv is not defending me at all. here's another photo of images other people were posting in and around the lot".

He first shared a video showing himself clutching the back of his head after getting hit with shrapnel following an onset explosion effect.

Finally, he posted what seemed like a farwell tweet, saying that Crawford "has a file of infractions" and urging Warner Bros.to #releasethetapes.

Crawford's on-set behaviour is first put into question by a report from Deadline. Wayans has since made his Twitter account private, but ConsquenceOfSound managed to grab screenshots before that.

Lethal Weapon actor Damon Wayans and his since-fired co-star Clayne Crawford have had issues for weeks now, with the feud reaching a breaking point earlier this month when Fox fired Crawford from the series.

"He hit another actor in the mouth with a bottle of green tea and busted his mouth open", he added.

He did, however, retweet fans sending him support during the Crawford debacle as many questioned whether Wayans had led the charge against his co-star. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Scott may play the brother to Crawford's Martin Riggs, thus keeping the well-known name in the mix...

Crawford was sacked from the show last week, following accusations of behavioural issues on set, following which disciplinary action was taken against him. Riggs was a dream role and the experience will live with me forever. He posted a message of congratulations to the cast and crew on Instagram.

"Lethal Weapon" will return to the Fox schedule in the fall, where it will air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET and introduce Seann William Scott as a new character and partner for Damon Wayons' Murtaugh character. An actor on set felt unsafe as a result of a chunk of shrapnel from an impact hit him. After meeting with human resources, he allegedly apologized, completed mandatory therapy, and shared "a sizable portion" of his paycheck with one of the parties "per the instruction of the studio". "And stuck (sic) fear in cast and crew". That leads me to believe that this sixth season will really be the end, but it's allowing creators Jed Whedon and Melissa Tancharoen to wrap up all the intriguing plot implications they've set up in this season.
