Meghan Markle's family won't stop bringing the drama to the royal wedding.

Meghan Markle's father Thomas Markle, will reportedly no longer be attending the wedding of his daughter and Britain's Prince Harry this weekend.

"This is not a game - it is her life and his", said the statement from Harry's press secretary.

Indeed, six days ago from yesterday he was seen leaving his home in the beachside community of Rosarito, Mexico, and driving to San Diego, just over the United States border. He said he had been treated at the General Hospital in Mexico six days ago.

The revelation about the photos came as Markle was due to travel to the United Kingdom for the wedding and after Kensington Palace repeatedly issued warnings to media outlets to respect his privacy, saying he had been "harassed" by paparazzi, the Mail on Sunday said. The royal family made concessions to popular interests, including carefully staged interviews and photo opportunities with William and Harry as they grew up.

Thomas Markle is missing out on the royal wedding following a heart attack, according to a Monday TMZ report.

Meghan and Prince Harry are set to tie a knot on May 19 at England's Windsor Castle.

"This is not what she wants".

"It was really one of the first things we connected on", said Markle. I wanted to see him go (to the wedding).

"This is a deeply personal moment for Ms. Markle in the days before her wedding", the statement said.

Kensington Palace issued a statement calling for "understanding and respect to be extended to Mr. Markle in this hard situation".

"I hate the idea of missing one of the greatest moments in history and walking my daughter down the aisle", the news site quoted him as saying.

Previously, Kensington Palace had said both of the brides parents would play "important roles" in the wedding. When the late Princess Margaret Wednesday Anthony Armstrong-Jones in 1960, Prince Philip - the husband of her sister, Queen Elizabeth II - accompanied her down the aisle, according to Town & Country. But celebrity news website TMZ reported Monday that the elder Markle has chose to stay away amid criticism over his decision to pose for mocked up wedding-preparation shots taken by a paparazzi agency. The last time pictures were this staged Speidi was behind it. In another report published by the British newspaper, The Mirror, Thomas Markle Jr. said his dad planned to "apologize sincerely to Meg", for photos Thomas Markle claimed were taken while being beleaguered by paparazzi.

Mr Markle told TMZ he changed his mind after his daughter contacted him to say she loved him and was concerned about his health.

Samantha Markle also dismissed the idea that her father had been paid to take the photos.

Harry and Markle have invited 600 guests to the wedding, which will be followed by a gala reception hosted by the queen.

Available only on the ABC News iOS app, the new AR feature gives the public the opportunity to take photos with a 3D model of the royal carriage and pose next to a Queen's Guard, then share these with family and friends on social media.

The site also said he suffered a heart attack less than a week ago.

It appears some extended family members are seeking the spotlight.

Meghan's nephew Tyler, his brother Thomas Dooley, and their mother Tracy - the wife of Meghan's estranged half brother Thomas Markle Jr - were sighted at Heathrow Airport.
